Expansion Plans
Our major markets for targeted expansion include
Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan, Delaware, North Carolina,
Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and Georgia.
Trade Areas
Trade area radius is usually up to two miles.
Demographics
- Population minimum is 25,000 people
within two miles.
- Median household income is $50,000.
- Median age is 34 with half the potential customers
between the ages of 18 and 50.
- Traffic count should be 25,000 cars per
24 hours or more.
Site Characteristics
- Anchored retail strip center (in-line or
pad)
- Free standing store (minimum lot size is one-half
acre)
- Shopping mall food court
- Downtown location
- Other non-traditional units
Size
The size will vary depending on offerings. 1800-3500
square feet is neccessary for a traditional Arabica Coffeehouse.
Carts,
Kiosks, and smaller units are possible.

Visibility
All locations must have excellent visibility, minimum
of 250 feet or better in either direction.
On Site Parking
Standard, full service unit, regardless of free
standing or inline should have minimum of 20 spaces. Parking should
meet all local codes.
Supportive Economic Base
- Proximity to other fast casual outlets,
industrial, heavy commercial, office, and compatible retail.
- Desired
traffic generators include shopping centers, malls, theaters,
sporting arenas, etc.
